Shireen Fabing After twenty years in the corporate world, I decided to leave and do more of what made me happy. The primary motivators for this huge decision were more time with family and protecting my personal health and well-being. I also wanted to turn my passion for health and fitness into a tool that will help people. Shireen “The Machine” In 2013 I became an athlete and “The Machine” was born out of needing a fight name for my first sanctioned boxing match. Little did I know that this name or “persona” would not only stick but would translate into other parts of my life. I continued to compete after that first “bucket list” bout and in 2020 became a certified Boxing Coach & Certified Personal Trainer Strong Is My Beautiful™ The day I said: "I am enough" was the turning point for me. It took many years of self-doubt and even more years of people pleasing that brought me to that moment. I realized that strength is a beautiful thing. It's courageous, brave and pretty badass and whether you show it through action or deeds, it doesn't get more beautiful! Learning to turn the hard moments in life into opportunities is a skill I picked up on this journey and one which I continue to nurture. It has become one of my strongest traits and I'm proud of it. Not everyone will get it or get me and that's ok! Remember, you will always be too much for some people. They are just not your people!
